Julianna (Julia) Horvath (nee Lenert) 87, of Union died in Cornell Hall Care Center in Union on Tuesday June 11 ^th , 2013.

Private funeral services are under the direction of The Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue in Union.

She was born in Hungary, came to Newark in 1947, and then lived in Irvington, before moving to Union 42 years ago. She was an assembler for Sterling Plastics Corporation in Mountainside for 30 years until she retired 22 years ago.

Julia was married to her husband Joseph Horvath for 52 years and is the mother of John Brotschol and his wife Debra Hiller, and is the beloved grandmother of Hillery Brotschol.
