MaryAnn P. Mench

MaryAnn P. Mench passed away suddenly December 13, 2017 at the age of 78.

Born on October 5, 1939, in Newark, New Jersey, to James Fox and Margaret Fox (O'Shannesey), MaryAnn grew up in Kearny attending St. Cecelia's High School and after graduation Berkeley Business School.  She later worked at RCA in Harrison, New Jersey, as a secretary.

On July 22, 1967, MaryAnn married Allen Mench and settled in Union with his five children.  Two years later they were blessed with a sixth child.  With six children attending St. Michael's Catholic School in Union, she was active with the parents' organization.

MaryAnn loved spending summers in Forked River with her family and especially liked to take trips to Atlantic City.  After her family grew up, she and Allen moved to Forked River but loved to spend the winters in sunny Stuart, Florida.

MaryAnn is survived by her husband of 50 years, Allen,

her loving children BethAnn and her husband, Zeeb;

Allen and his wife Debbie; James and his wife, Kris;

William and his wife Debbie; Maryellen and her husband, Bob; and Nancy and her husband, Angelo.

She is also survived by her grandchildren RoseMary Rollis, Christopher Ruggles, Allen Mench, David Mench, Katie Sotak, Ryan Mench, Robert Mench, Marilyn Mench, Christopher Mench, Chelsey Castellano,

Michael Zuena, Nicholas Zuena and Giovanni Zuena.

Also she was blessed with five great-grandchildren.

MaryAnn was predeceased by her sister, Dolores Waiver and her husband, Charlie, and her brother, James Fox.
