Abraham Santiago Sr.
Abraham Santiago 75 years old peacefully passed away

on September 18th, 2020  at 12:15 PM in Newark, NJ.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Abraham

at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union, N.J.

on Thursday September 24, 2020 from 3-7 PM.

The burial will follow the next day Friday September 25, 2020

at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.

Abraham Santiago was born on March 25, 1945 in Utuado, Puerto Rico.
After moving to Newark at age 19 he worked as a talented hair stylist

and eventually opened his own barber shop in Irvington, NJ for many years.

He was a great person, caring, generous and a hard worker.

He took a chance on people and loved helping those in need.
He loved a nice game of pool and really enjoyed good music, great company, classic cars,

nice tailored pants and perfectly pressed shirts.
Abraham was the beloved husband to Minerva Santiago for 64 years,

the loving father to Diana, Abraham Jr., and Erik Santiago.
Caring grandfather, great grandfather and a trusted and devoted friend to many.
We will forever miss you, until we meet again.
Rest in paradise.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory may be made to either of the following charities:

The Diabetes fund, The Cancer Research fund, The American Heart Association, or The Alzheimer's Association.
