Adrienne Calegari

Adrienne Calegari (nee Barbosa) 70, passed away peacefully at Cranford Park Nursing Home on
Thursday, October 15, 2020. She was born in Azores, Portugal, loving daughter of the late Guilherme
Barbosa and Deodata Barbosa. Adrienne and her family came to the United Stated from Canada in 1968
and resided in the Ironbound Section of Newark, NJ and then moving to Union, NJ with her daughter.
Adrienne was the loving mother of her daughter, Jennifer Calegari and son, Mario Calegari.
Grandmother of Tiffany who she cherished and Violet. Loving sister of Carlos Barbosa, Susan Thorup,
Anthony Barbosa and Mozart Barbosa, along with many nieces and nephews.
Adrienne worked at Hermann’s Curtin Store as a young woman and then was a stay-at-home Mom
raising her children. She will be remembered for her infectious smile, outgoing personality who was full
of life and a woman who was always there to help others, she will be truly be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Tuesday at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth. Visitation is on Tuesday from 11 am to time of service.
