Agnes Zambolla (nee Cecere) 90, of Toms River, formerly of Westfield, NJ passed away on Friday, Dec.9th, 2011, in Community Medical Center, in Toms River, N.J.


Agnes was born in Bloomfield, N.J. to Carmela and Carmine in 1921. She was the last surviving sibling of 7. Mary, Mike, Frank, Philomena, Olga, and Jilda.


Agnes fell in love and married Salvatore “Sam” in 1952 and they had 3 children, John, Lucille, and Ann Marie. She and her husband Salvatore started and ran a manufacturing business in Kenilworth until Sam passed away in 1994.


Agnes loved her arts and crafts, and cooking for her family so much that her granddaughters called her regularly for her coveted family recipes to prepare for their families.


Agnes is survived by her children John, and Lucille, grandchildren, great grandchildren, countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. She will also be missed by her beloved faithful companion Dominic.


The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue, Union on Tuesday at 9 AM. The funeral mass is at St. Michael Church, 40 Alden St. Cranford, NJ at 10:30 AM. Entombment is in Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth. Visitation is on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
