Agueda Milara (nee Parra) age 80 of Newark died in Overlook Medical Center in Summit on Friday August 29, 2014.

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Tuesday at 8 am. The funeral mass will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Newark at 9:30 am. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in N. Arlington. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-6 pm.

Born in Spain she lived in New York City before she moved to the Ironbound section of Newark 63 years ago.

Agueda is the Beloved wife of Jesus Milara for 61 years. She is the devoted mother of Caridad Ferraro and her husband Joseph, Diego P. Milara and his wife Esther, and Gines Milara and his wife Caty. She is the caring  daughter of the late Caridad (nee Martinez)  and Gines Parra. She is also the cherished grandmother of Albert and his wife Nicole, Michael and his wife Sarah, Vanessa, Jesus Daniel, Diego Michael, Arielle, and Jacqueline. as well as the loving great grandmother of Gavin, Juliana, Cameron, and Brendan.
