Alice Rossi

Alice Rossi (nee Iannuzzi), 93, of West Caldwell, NJ, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.

Alice was the very devoted daughter of the late Louis and Mae Iannuzzi of Newark and Belleville.

Born and raised in Newark (living on Highland Avenue), Alice moved to West Caldwell in 1955.

Alice proudly attended Sacred Heart Elementary School in Newark, and graduated from Immaculate Conception High school in Montclair.

She was employed in various secretarial and receptionist positions in the local area, including Grover Cleveland Junior High School in Caldwell. Alice also enjoyed volunteering for over 10 years at St. Barnabas Medical Center in their flower room.

Alice was a dedicated churchgoer at St. Aloysius Church in Caldwell, and was a member of the Rosary Society since the 1960's.

Beloved wife of the late Frank Rossi for over 70 years.

Alice is survived by her cherished daughter, Iris Rossi, whom she lovingly referred to as "my loving daughter" .

Also her cherished son "known as her loving son" John Rossi and his wife Cheryl.

Sister of the late Marie Andolino and sister in-law of the late Nancy Rossi (1930), Orsola (Lena) Marchese and Gloria Heiss.

Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 9 AM - 10:30 AM at the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael Church in Livingston at 11AM.

Entombment  will follow at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum in East Hanover NJ.
