Allan Hess, 61 of Union passed away at home on June 2, 2019.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3 - 7 PM at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union, with a funeral service being celebrated Thursday morning at 10 AM. Interment at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.

Allan was born in Elizabeth and was a lifelong resident of Union. He worked for the Union County Parks Commission for 20 years as a Grounds Maintenance person before retiring. He was a noted lifelong Mets fan.

He is the son of Bernard Hess and the late Lucille (nee Burdi).

Brother of William and his wife Catherine.

Uncle of Rachel Castiblanco.
