Alma Chiaravallo

Alma Chiaravallo (nee Lombardi) 87 of Rahway died on Wednesday August 1, 2012 at home.


The funeral service is in the Galante Funeral home 2800 Morris Avenue, Union on Monday at 11:30 am. Interment will follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Newark. Visitation is Monday from 10 AM – 12 noon.


Born in Newark she lived in Rahway for 60 years.


Alma was the wife of the late Gerard Chiaravallo, and was the Long Time Companion of Raymond Martin. She was the mother of Joseph Chiaravallo, Linda Neville, and Patricia Bell, and was the grandmother of Sean Bell, Jeffrey Bell, Lisa Neville, Jamie Neville, and Christopher Neville, as well as the great grandmother of Carson Bell.


In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research,
