Amalia Perez  90, of Newark passed away on March 19, 2023.

Wife of the late Jose.

Mother of Pilar Planas and her husband Hugo Oscar.

Grandmother of the late Michael.

Loving sister of 6 brothers and sisters.

Amalia was born and raised in Orense, Spain.

She later arrived in the US in 1970 and settled in the Ironbound section of Newark.

She has always been  known as a great cook and loving person to all.

Funeral arrangement are private by the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave in Union.
