Andres Pacheco

Andres Pacheco, 79 of Union passed away on February 6, 2024.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Andres at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Monday February 12 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Elizabeth on Tuesday at 9 AM. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.

Born in Santiago, Chile, Andres immigrated to the United States in 1971, settling in Jersey City and finally Union since 1994. He worked as a train mechanic for Stone Safety, and also worked for Conti Construction for many years until his retirement ten years ago.

Andres had fond memories of going out dancing with his lovely wife in his younger years. He most treasured enjoying a glass of wine, and spending time with his family, especially his cherished grandchildren.

Andres was the beloved husband of Maria Fatima Pacheco; loving father of Catherine Tronza and her husband Jorge and Andres D. Pacheco and his wife Carla Santos Pacheco; proud avó of Fabian Tronza, Ariana Tronza, Carlos Pacheco, Sebastian Pacheco and Lucas Pacheco; and dear brother of Gabby Fernandez, Maria Pacheco and Nancy Pacheco.
