Angela Martone

Angela Martone, 93, (nee Lupo) passed away on June 20, 2020 after her struggle with Alzheimer’s. Her parents, the late Mr and Mrs Lupo raised her and her 7 siblings in Newark, NJ. She was taught that family was everything. After falling in love with Frank Martone, she married him on Oct.26,1952. Her full time career was managing a household of 4 children. Angela and Frank sacrificed together to provide a great family life filled with love, happiness, joy and security. Her greatness was obvious because she lived her life seeking to be the best human being she could be. She practiced loving others, always  giving to others, accepting others with no judgment, not speaking bad about others, gratitude and forgiveness. A true role model for how to be a great person. She is survived by her loving and caring husband, Frank. She is survived by her adoring family Samuel (wife Laurie James Martone) and Frank, Denise Hrynkiewicz (husband, Tom), Andrea Martone (husband, Michael Chencharik , 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and Angela’s last remaining sibling, Nick Lupo, who is 100 years old.

Funeral arrangements are private by the Galante Funeral Home in Union.
