Angelo Carmen Casale

Angelo Carmen Casale, 83, of Union, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains surrounded by his loving family.

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ on Tuesday at 9 am.  The Funeral Mass will be at St. Michael’s Church in Union at 10:15 am. Entombment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Visitation will be on Monday from 3 to 7 pm.

Born in Newark, NJ, Angelo lived in Union for many years. He was a Court Officer for the County of Essex for 45 years before retiring. Angelo served in U.S. Army during peacetime.

Angelo enjoyed tending to his yard, trips to Monmouth Racetrack, Atlantic City, and going to the beach at the NJ shore, along with going out to eat with his family.

Beloved father of Gina Casale-Houarner and  her husband Ken; Brother of Victor Casale and his wife Patricia; Longtime companion of Helen Kaiser; Uncle of Joseph & Cristine Casale . Also survived by his former wife Rosalie (nee Rosenberg) Casale.

Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Fannie (nee Longo) Casale, and his brother Joseph Casale.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Center for Hope Hospice, 1900 Raritan Rd, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 in his memory.
