Anna M. Marques (nee Petti) 79, of Union died on Monday February 10, 2014 at Overlook Medical Center in Summit.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Saturday at 8:30 am. The funeral mass will be in St. Joseph Church in Maplewood at 10 am. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

Born in Newark she lived in Union  for 48 years. She was a Clerk for the Union Twp. Tax Department for 20 years retiring 9 years ago.

Anna was married to her husband Edward D. Marques for 57 years, and is the mother of John Marques and his wife Anita, Patricia DeNicolo, and Anna Matassa and her husband Joseph. She is also the sister of Gennaro Petti, and the grandmother of John, Michael, Danielle, Kristina, and Kayli.
