Anna Maria Agrillo

Anna Maria Agrillo, 75 of Union passed away at home on March 14, 2016.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday at 11:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation is on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

Born in Lucca, Italy, Anna Maria emigrated to Newark, later moving to Maplewood and finally settling in Union in 1985. She worked as a customer service representative at Shop-Rite in Union; but cooking for her family and friends was always her favorite. Anyone who ever had a meal prepared by Mrs. Agrillo always remembered how delicious it was. She also enjoyed bowling and doing crossword puzzles; and was like a second mother to many friends.

Anna Maria was predeceased by her parents Omero and Velma Baisi, and by her beloved husband of 48 years Nunzio. She was the loving mother of Anthony Agrillo and his fiance Angela, and Diana Fischetti; and grandmother of Anthony, Vincent, Nicholas, Giuliana, Ashley and Allison. She is also survived by her brother Frank Baisi.
