Anne Bencivengo

Anne Catherine Bencivengo (Jaeger), 84 of Fairfield, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2019.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell, NJ. Visitation is on Friday April 26 from 5-9 PM at the funeral home. At 10 AM on Saturday April 27, Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Church, 12 Hollywood Ave. Fairfield, NJ. The Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Anne lived in Fairfield, NJ, since 1965. An amazing homemaker, taking care of her family and being a great mother and grandmother were the most important things to Anne throughout her life. Anne had a talent and passion for baking, which her family and friends could taste in every pie she baked, especially in her pumpkin pie, which was loved by many. An avid reader, she always stayed up to date on the world’s current events. Anne also enjoyed frequent family trips to Lake George, NY, and to Aruba.

Anne was the beloved wife of 57 years to the late Justin F. Bencivengo. She was the loving mother of Peter Bencivengo and his wife Carol, Paul Bencivengo and his wife Ann, and the late Karen Bencivengo-Liskiewicz. She was the cherished "Grandest-Ma" of Christian, Justin, and Michelle Bencivengo and Claire and Brooke Liskiewicz, dear sister of Gerri Minutolo, and William Jaeger and his wife Linda. Anne was also the cherished aunt of Gina and Paul Minutolo, and William Jaeger, III and his wife Julia. Anne was a special friend and confidant to countless people and will be loved and remembered for the light that she was in so many lives.
