Anne Criscitiello

Anne (Curci) Criscitiello, 96, of Mountainside, New Jersey passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025. Anne was born on July 30, 1928, in Newark, New Jersey. 

She is survived by her sons Gary (daughter in law Tracy) and Gregory; beloved grandchildren Danielle (Michael McLaughlin), Michael (Gina Criscitiello), Ashley (Neil Pirone) and Maxwell (Jesse Bello) and great grandchildren Hudson, Lincoln, Deacon, Marina, Gia, Miles, Jameson, and Callie. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 73 years, Frank Criscitiello and her six sisters, Phyllis, Helen, Rose, Violet, Annette and Rita. She is now in Heaven with her six sister, the Pleiades Star Cluster, otherwise known as the seven sisters.

Anne was devoted to her family. They were the center of her world. She loved hosting Sunday family dinners and holidays with her sisters and extended family. Anne started her family in Newark, but raised them for many years in Mountainside, New Jersey while wintering in her home in Hillsborough Beach, Florida and summers were spent in Mantoloking, New Jersey. 

A viewing will be held Wednesday, April 9th at Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Avenue, Union, New Jersey 07083 between 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held Thursday, April 10th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mountainside New Jersey with interment at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Children’s Specialized Hospital of Mountainside, it was an organization that she held close to her heart and contributed to over many years.
