Anne C. Czekanski

Anne C. Czekanski (nee Dombol) 101, of  Union died on Wednesday Nov. 4, 2015 at home.

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Saturday at 9:45 am.

The funeral mass will be in St. James Church in Springfield  at 10:00 am.

Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.

Visitation is on Saturday from 8:30 am - 9:30 am.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and lived in Flemington, and Newark before moving to Union 55 years ago.

She was employed  by Western Electric Corp. in Kearny for 34 years retiring in 1977.

She was a member of the

Telephone Pioneers of America, and the Polish Women's Alliance in Newark.

Anne was married to her late husband Stanley for 60 years until he died in 2008.

She is the sister of Benjamin Dombal, and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great  nieces and great nephews.
