Anne Rose Mondesir

Anne Rose Mondésir was born to Gerulem Mondésir and Vasinette Valcour in Ennery, Haiti on November 25, 1930 . She immigrated to the United States of America in 1967 and resided in Chicago from 1967 to 1970,then she moved to Brooklyn and to New Jersey.  She worked as a home health aide til the day she died. She was a member of the Haitian Choir and Legion of Mary at Saint Leo Church in Irvington, New Jersey. Anne Rose always considered the countless friends she made at Saint Leo Church as her own family members. Anne Rose was called home by our savior God on Monday, November 10, 2014. She was welcomed into paradise by our Lord Jesus Christ. May the lord bless her soul.

Prior to her illness she was an active church member both at Blessed Sacrament and St. Leo’s churches. Her faith in the Lord was unsurpassed, unwavering and stead-fast. When times were tough and difficult, Anne Rose did not forsake her belief in the Lord. In fact, during those times is when she stayed on her knees praying and seeking comfort and direction.

She is survived by her beloved adopted son and daughters, Rene’ Mondesir, Lydia Michel and Gladys Acloque; grandson, Clifford Michel ; loving nieces and nephews, Anne Mondesir Precien, Alain Mondesir, Alexandra Mondesir, Carlos Mondesir, Marvin Mondesir, Octavien Mondesir, Maya Mondesir, Claude Mondesir, Ernest Mondesir, Marthe Mondesir; cousins, Paul Elie Noel, Merzelie Noel, Rozeulie Noel, Dominique Noel, Joseph Noel, Gracia Jean, Guerda Lebrun, and Marie Lebrun. She was predeceased by her favorite niece, Suze Denerville.

Anne Rose, you will always live in our thoughts, prayers and memories. Continue to protect and watch over us our guardian angel. WE LOVE YOU!
