Anthony Carlo

Anthony F. Carlo, 84 of Springfield passed away on June 22, 2022.

Funeral Services are private, in the care of the Galante Funeral Home in Union.

Born in Newark, Tony lived in Maplewood for many years and was a Springfield resident for the past seven years. He worked for Manpower Staffing, starting as a driver out of high school, and proudly worked his way all the way up to Regional Manager. Tony most recently worked for Brooks Brothers in Short Hills, and was much loved in the store. Tony was an avid thoroughbred horse breeder and owner, enjoying the hobby all of his life. Tony also appreciated convertibles, and trips to the beach.

The son of the late John H. and Yolanda (nee Notte) Carlo, Tony was the dear brother of Josephine Silverstein and her husband Louis; nephew of Rosetta Carlo, cherished uncle of David Silverstein and Suzanne Freeman, and great-uncle of Michael, Sydnie and Max.
