ANTHONY CIGNARELLA SR.

Anthony Cignarella Sr., 86, of West Orange, died on May 22, 2013 at the West Caldwell Care Center.

The funeral will be held from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., Union on Saturday at 11 am. Entombment at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Visitation on Friday from 4 to 8 pm.

He was born in Newark, NJ and lived in Maplewood prior to moving to West Orange 6 years ago.

Anthony was a superintendant at Maplewood Village for 30 years, retiring 6 years ago. He served in the Navy during WWII.

Anthony is the son of the late Henry and Filomena (nee: Frino), beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee: Federico); father of Anthony Cignarella Jr. and his wife Gloria, Filomena Golinski and her husband Gregory, Margaret Regan and her life partner Sarah. Brother of Andrew and Rocco Cignarella, Cecelia Beyer, Jay Meyer, Terry La Ferrara, Jean Veneziano, the late Richard Cignarella, Mike Cignarella, Dolly Pisar, and Jerry Cignarella. Grandfather of Jason, Anthony III, Christina, and Jacquelyn. Great grandfather of Trenton, Brent, Camden, Carlie, Hudson, and Kylie.
