Anthony Magliacano Sr.

Anthony Magliacano Sr. 66 of Scotch Plains passed away Sunday September 4, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Lucy’s Church, 118 7th Ave Newark, NJ 07104 at 11:00 am on Saturday September 10, 2016.

Anthony was born and raised in Newark NJ and lived in Union Township for 30 years. He worked for the Union Board of Education as the Director of Maintenance and Operations until he retired in 2010. After retiring he worked as a substitute teacher for the New Providence and Westfield school districts. He also worked with the New Providence football chain crew as well as refereeing swimming and track & field.

Anthony is survived by his loving wife Barbara (nee Logan) of 45 years, his son Anthony Jr,and his wife Xenia, his daughter Karen, his four brothers  Matty, Bobby, Gerald, Raymond and his grandchildren Lucia and Giovanni. He was predeceased by his brother Michael.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers that
