Anthony J. Mondi Jr. 77, of Clark, died on Friday April 19 ^th , 2013 at St. Peter Hospital in New Brunswick.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Monday at 8 am. The funeral mass is at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Newark at 9:30 am. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-6 pm.

Born in Newark he lived in Clark for 50 years. He was a Checker and Dock Boss at Port Newark, for ILA Local # 1 in Newark. He was a veteran who served in the US Army during Peacetime from 1956-1957.

Anthony was married to his wife Margaret F. (nee Colucci) for 55 years. He is the father of Anthony Mondi and his wife Cynthia, Laura Dunn and her husband James, Angela Bove and her husband Salvatore, and Christine Siciliano and her husband Joseph. He was also the brother of Marie Pannullo, as well as the grandfather of Anthony, and Joseph Mondi, Salvatore, De Anna, and Christie Bove, Nicholas Dunn, and Louis and Ava Siciliano.
