Anthony Monguso Jr., 79 of Toms River, NJ

and formally of Union Township, NJ,

passed away peacefully on Saturday September 22, 2018

at Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ surrounded by his loving children after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born in Newark, NJ to the late Antonio and Mary ( Hunter ) Monguso ,

Anthony was employed as a longshoreman and checker at Sealand and Mearsk Terminals

for forty years at the Elizabeth Seaport.

He is survived by Daughter Deborah and husband Mike Carlucci,

Son Anthony and Holly Monguso, daughter Kimberly, former wife Phyllis Monguso

and four grandchildren,

Michael Carlucci, Anthony Monguso, Kelsey Carlucci and Alexandria Monguso.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday September 30, 2018 from 2 - 6 PM

at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue in Union, NJ.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday in the funeral home at 3 PM.
