Antoinette "Dolly" Verdi

Antoinette “Dolly” Verdi (Addonizio) of Wall Township, formerly of West Orange and born in Newark passed away on September 17, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Verdi and the late Herbert DeSacia. Dolly leaves behind the loves of her life, sons Anthony and his wife Sharon and Michael and his wife Mari. The apples of her eye grandsons Anthony, Michael, Matthew, Mark and his boyfriend Kyle. Aunt Dolly leaves her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. There were also many others who called her Grandma Dolly. Dolly will forever be a shining light to those who loved her. She was happiest surrounded by her family and close friends. Dolly was predeceased by her parents Raffaelo & Mariantine, her baby Ralph, her brothers Frank, Ralph and Prisco; sisters Rozlyn and Florence; her nephew Dr. Frank Mazzarella and his wife Carla. 

Visitation will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Avenue, Union. A Mass will be held at St. Joseph Church in Maplewood at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in East Orange.
