Antoinette D'Uva

Antoinette D'Uva, 59 of Caldwell passed away on December 24, 2021.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass for Antoinette at St. Aloysius Church, 219 Bloomfield Ave. Caldwell on Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Galante Funeral Home in Caldwell. Visitation will be held at the funeral home private to the family. Born in Belleville, Antoinette was a resident of Caldwell for the past 50 years. A graduate of James Caldwell High School, Antoinette earned a degree from Seton Hall University, and attended Law School in Nebraska before joining her father as a manager for Shop-Rite in East Orange for many years. A talented violinist, Antoinette played in an orchestra. She enjoyed trips to Florida, and summers at her family home in Ortley Beach, and also trips to Wildwood. A selfless person, Antoinette cared deeply for others, often volunteering in hospitals and in schools. Most of all, Antoinette treasured time spent with her loving family.

Antoinette was predeceased by her loving parents Gabriel and Mary (nee Sia) D'Uva, and by her dear sister Theresa D'Uva-Mazzella. She is survived by her cherished niece Daniela Mazzella, and by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Flowers are appreciated, or if preferred, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
