Antoinette M. La Bruno (nee Mancinelli)  96, of Sarasota, Fla. died on Monday April 28, 2014 at Tidewell at Lakewood Ranch Hospital in Bradenton, Florida.

The funeral service will be in the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Friday at 11 am. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in East Orange.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

Born in Newark, she lived in Elizabeth, then Maplewood for 50 years before moving to Sarasota, Fla. 1 1/2 years ago.

Antoinette was the wife of the late James A. La Bruno for 71 years, until he died in 2010.  She is the mother of Nick La Bruno and his wife Gail, and the late Florence La Bruno. She is also the Aunt of Teresa Bisogna, as well as the grandmother Of Ann Marie Gathright, Teresa Glauser, Lisa Meyers, James La Bruno, and Nicole Breeden, and is survived by 11 great grandchildren.
