Antoinette Serratelli Lamanna
Antoinette Lamanna, 93, of Union, NJ, went home to be with her Savior on Easter morning, March 27. She was born and raised in Newark, NJ and spent most of her life in Union.
Antoinette graduated from Coleman's Business College and worked for the Office of Dependency Benefits during WWII. In her youth, she managed her own softball team and a social club called the Bonita Girls. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God and deeply loved the Lord.
Antoinette was predeceased by her husband Vincent Lamanna and her five sisters and five brothers and her great-grandson Samuel Berkley. She is survived by her two daughters Carolyn LaCrosse and husband Don and Rebecca Lamanna. She is also survived by two granddaughters Amoreena Berkley and husband David and Briana Klika.
She took special joy in her four great-grandsons Josiah, Daniel, Timothy and Benaiah. In her large extended family she was lovingly known as "Anty" by nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., in Union. On Friday there will be a visiting hour from 9 to 10 a.m. at Galante Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to Calvary Assembly of God , Springfield, NJ.
