Anton Kostuk

Anton Kostuk 93, of Union died on Monday July 23rd, 2012 at home.


The funeral service will be in the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Friday a10AM. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.


Visitation will be on Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.


Born in Bound Brook he was a lifelong Union resident. He was a truck driver for Tuscan dairy in Union for 72 years, retiring in 2005. A veteran of WWII he served in the engineering dept. of the US Army as a staff sergeant from 1943-1945. He was also a beloved friend and supporter of the N.J. State Police serving as the Troop D Newark milkman known as Tuscan Tony.


Anton was married to his late wife Eleanor, T. Kostuk (nee Haino) for 57 years until she died in 2006.


He was the father of Andrea and Toni Kostuk.


In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the N.J.S.P. Memorial Association P.O. Box 1683 Bellmawr, N.J. 08031, or to the FTA White Horse Plaza Building 1675 White-Horse-Mercerville Road Suite 103 Hamilton, N.J. 08619 in his memory.
