Antonetta Bellina

Antonetta (Anna) Bellina (nee Ciccone) 101, of Basking Ridge, formerly of East Orange. Died on Wednesday October 24th, 2012 at home.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave, Union, on Saturday at 8:30 am. The funeral mass is at St. Joseph Church, East Orange at 10 am. Entombment is in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Visitation is Friday from 5-8 pm.

Born in Newark she lived in East Orange for many years before moving to Basking Ridge 6 years ago. She was happy being a homemaker and cooking and caring for her family into her late 90’s. She was a member of the Rosary Society, a Girl Scout Leader, and for 50 years she assisted with the Bingo games, all at St. Joseph Church. She was also a volunteer at St. Anthony Orphanage in Kearny and was also active with the Senior Wellness Center in Basking Ridge.

Anna was married to her late husband Frank J. Bellina for 70 years until he died in 2007. She was the mother of Sandra Arace and her late husband Frank, and the grandmother of Elizabeth Lockward, and her husband Bart, and Catherine Appolonia and her husband Matthew. She was the sister of the late Catherine Marinello, Philomena Pasquariello, Jennie Carlucci, Carmela Marchese, and Rose Dario, as well as the great grandmother of Anna Lockward, Maria, Frank, and Matthew Appolonia Jr.
