Antonio F. Sequeira

Antonio F. Sequeira, 70, of Union, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 8, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation for Antonio on Sunday from 2 to 6 pm at Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Avenue, Union. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 10:00am on Monday, June 12th. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Born in Portugal to the late Manuel Nunes Sequeira and Maria Assuncao Ferreira, Antonio lived most of his life in Union, NJ, where he raised his family.

After graduating from East Side High and St. Peter’s University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Throughout Tony's 40+ years in the real estate business, he was a  broker, GRI, sales associate, and notary with the Rosa Agency family. He was an incredible philanthropist who was loved and respected by many and raised his 3 sons to also be men of the same honorable caliber. Antonio was a mentor and friend to everyone around him. He was an avid soccer player growing up and loved watching the Portuguese soccer teams play on TV.

Antonio is the beloved husband of Dina (Pereira) Sequeira, loving father of Steve, Andrew, and Justin Sequeira. He is also the cherished brother of Alberto Sequeira and his wife Maria Clara Fonseca.
