Husband of Laura (nee Martins).
Father of Lidia DeSilva.
Brother of the late Manuel Gomes.
Grandfather of Daniel and Christine.
Great grandfather of Raquel and Isabelle.
Antonio was born in Santarem Portugal. He arrived in Newark in 1973 and lived there until moving to Bellville 30 years ago.
He was a carpenter with Homecraft Manufacturing in Newark for 20 years before retiring in 1992.
There will be a funeral service at the Galante Funeral Home 17 Pacific St. Newark (Ironbound) on Monday evening at 7 PM.
Visitation Monday from 4 – 8 PM
Cremation will be private.
