Arturo Alvarez  58, of Newark died on Friday June 26, 2015 at New Vista Nursing Home in Newark.

The visitation will be on Wednesday July 1, 2015 at the Galante Funeral Home 17 Pacific St. Newark from 7-9 pm Cremation will be private.

Born in Spain he lived in Newark for many years. He was a Foreman for Patrone Construction Co. LLC in Brooklyn, NY.

Arturo was the father of Michael and Samantha Alvarez, and is the brother of Gloria Alvarez.
