Barbara Martin

Barbara J. Martin (nee Gill), 84 of Union passed away on January 8, 2018.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park. Visitation is on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.

A graduate of Union High School, the University of Rhode Island, and the Katherine Gibbs School, Barbara was a lifelong Union resident. She was a member of Connecticut Farms Presbyterian Church in Union for 76 years. Before retiring, Barbara worked for Kean College and later Summit Bank in Maplewood.

Barbara was the beloved wife of the late George J. Martin; loving mother of Linda and Bruce Martin, and the late Keith Martin. She was also the dear grandmother of Cori Martin; and mother-in-law of Diane and Jacklyne Martin.
