Barbara Rickey 84, of Springfield passed away  on July 24, 2016 at Centra State Medical Center Freehold,. Funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Friday at 8:30 am. The Funeral Mass at St. James Church Springfield at 10 AM. Cremation private. Visitation  Thursday from 4-8 PM.

Born in Union, Barbara lived in Springfield for 50 years. She was a secretary for Rostein  Kass & Co. Millburn for 35 years before retiring Barbara also belonged to the choir at St. James Church Springfield.

Wife of the late W. Thomas Rickey. Mother of Thomas Rickey. Step mother of Gary Rickey and Wendy Hoppock. Sister of Mary Ann Stiles and Philip Amberg. also 5 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.
