Benedict Cocoliato 78, of West Orange passed away peacefully in his home on August 21, 2018.

Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home 54 Roseland Ave.in  Caldwell on Saturday at 8:30 AM.

Funeral Mass at St. Aloysius Church, Caldwell at 9:30 AM.

Interment at Restland Memorial Park East Hanover.

Visitation Friday from 4 - 8 PM

Born in Orange, Benedict lived in West Orange for most of his life. He worked for the Essex County Roads & Bridges Department for 25 years and was a member of the United States Army for six years as a PFC before his discharge in 1965.

Benedict was the loving husband of 35 years to his wife Catherine (nee Falcetano) and devoted father to his sons James and Phillip.  Son of the late Angela and James Cocoliato, and brother of Rosemary Raccuglia.

His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.
