Bertha (nee Sherman) Schweighofer (formerly Bertha Weisman) passed away on
Wednesday September 30,2015 at the age of98.

Bertha was born and raised in Jersey City, N.J. She was the daughter of the late
George Sherman and Emma (nee Marg) Sherman.

Bertha was predeceased by her first husband James Weisman and her second
husband Frank Schweighofer. She is the mother of Edward Weislman & his wife
Anita and DeAngelo; grandmother of Jamie, John, Whitney, Kyle and the late
Brandon; and great-grandmother of Amanda, Noel, Alex and Griffin.

A memorial gathering for Betha will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from
11 :00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Ron Mowad Funenral Home and Cremation
Service (located in the Galante Funeral Home building), 2800 Morris Avenue,
Union, N.J. 07083. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home at 12:00
p.m. Pastor Bobbie Arrowsmith of Connecticut Farms Presbyterian Church,
Union, will officiate. Entombment will be private. In lieu of flowers please make
donations in Bertha's memory to the charity of your choice.
