Beverly Serratella

Beverly Serratella, 83, of Sugarland, Texas, passed away on January 19, 2025. Born in Newark, New Jersey, to Phyllis and Anthony Morello, she was the only sister to her three brothers, John, Frank, and Anthony. Beverly dedicated her career as an administrative assistant at both Ann Street School and East Side High, where she was known as Ms. Beverly to everyone and where she made a lasting impact on her colleagues and students.

Beverly is survived by her beloved son, Christopher, and her cherished goddaughter, Jackie. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Louis Serratella, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and memories. Family and friends were valued above all by her throughout her life. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Galante Funeral Home in Union, New Jersey. A funeral Mass will take place at Mount Carmel Church in Newark at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Following the Mass, entombment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, New Jersey.
