Blanca Pumar

Blanca Pumar, 80, of Springfield, passed away on Friday June 15, 2016. The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Monday at 8:30 am. The funeral mass will be at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Newark at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow in St. Teresa Cemetery in Summit. Visitation will be on Sunday from  1-5 pm.

Born and raised in Cuba, she arrived in America in 1968 and resided in the Ironbound Section of Newark.

Blanca is survived by her sons Luis A. and Mario; her brothers Luis, Ramon and Teodoro Riveria, her sisters Maria De Junco, Felicia Lima, Luisa Noda, Julie Felipe, Coralia Riveria and the late Dulce Ravelo. Blanca is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Jonathon, Stacey, Stephanie, Nicole, and Chelsea.
