Carlo L. Tamasco, 98 of Basking Ridge passed away on November 3, 2021.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Carlo at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Sunday November 7 from 1-5 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Mount Church in Warren on Monday at 11 AM. Burial will follow at St. Teresa Cemetery in Summit.
Born in Newark, Carlo lived in Irvington and Union until moving to Basking Ridge 20 years ago. He proudly served his country in the Navy during World War II. Carlo worked as a supervisor for the Township of Irvington Department of Public Works, retiring 45 years ago. Carlo treasured time spent with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The beloved husband of the late Josephine (nee Rega) Tamasco, Carlo was the loving father of Carlo Tamasco and his wife Joan, Robert Tamasco and Jo-Ann Tamasco; dear grandfather of Christian, Jared, Robert, Joseph and Tiffany, and adoring great-grandfather of Nicholas, Michael, Giulianna, Vincent and Christian. He was predeceased by his 13 brothers and sisters.
