Carlos Rivera Sr., 73, of Springfield, N.J. died on Wednesday October 5, 2016, at home surrounded by his loving family.

There will be a Memorial Visitation on Friday October 7, 2016, from 3 - 7 PM at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue, Union, N.J.  A Memorial Service will commence at 6 PM in the Funeral Home.

Carlos was born in Puerto Rico and moved his family to Springfield in 1978. He is the loving husband of  Nilda  G. Rivera, and is the devoted father of Jorge E. Rivera, Carlos Rivera Jr., and Maria Colon, as well as the cherished Grandfather of 7 Grandchildren .
