Carmela Cicchetti, 76, passed away on January 22, 2017 of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday at 8:30 AM.

Funeral Mass at St. James Church Springfield at 10 AM.

Entombment at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden.

Visitation on Wednesday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM.

Born in Vallata, Italy. Carmela lived in Elizabeth then to Springfield since 1987 before moving to Point Pleasant Beach 2 years ago.

She was a member of the Vallatese Ladies Club of Elizabeth and the Springfield Senior Citizen Club for many years.

Carmela (nee Di Cosmo) was the wife of the late Salvatore.

Mother of Celeste, Anna and Vito Cicchetti.

Sister of Louisa Pavese and Antoinette D"Albo.

Grandmother of Matthew Moreno.
