Carmela Pepe (nee Giardina) 95, of Cranford, formerly of Union died on Friday May 24 ^th , 2013 at Manor Care Center in New Providence.

The Funeral service will be in the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Thursday at 10 am. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pa, she lived in Rochester, N.Y. before moving to Union for 40 years and then to Cranford 8 years ago.

Carmela was married to her late husband John J. Pepe and is the mother of Ann Haeussler and her husband Tom. She was the sister of Jack Giardina, Ann Prizzi, the late Samuel Giardina, Joseph Jardine, Louis Jardine, and Antonio Giardino. She was also the

beloved Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
