Entombment at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum E. Hanover.


Visitation on Thursday from 4-8 pm


Carmine was born in Newark, lived in Newark then Verona for 46 years before moving to Warren 3 years ago. He was owner and operator of 8 dry cleaner stores throughout Newark for 50 years known as Grand Tailors. Also the Cedar Grove Dry Cleaners for 10 years before retiring 5 years ago. He served 2 years in the Army during the Korean conflict.


Carmine is the husband of Rose Mary (nee Spada)


Father of Louis Alfano and his wife Sheila, Muffy Basile and her husband Sil.


Brother of Louis Alfano and his wife Clorinda, Muffy Farro and her husband Russ and the late Mike Alfano, Phyllis Tenore and Connie Racioppi


Son of the late Louis and Mafalda Alfano


Grandfather of Anthony, Michael, Nicholas, Marissa, Kelly and Tara.


Great-Grandfather of Gianna, Michael and Christian
