Carol Zanisnik

Carol Zanisnik (Nee Capotosto), of Springfield, passed away on March 6, 2015 at New York Presbyterian Cornell Medical Center, New York City.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Thursday at 9 am. The funeral mass at St James Church Church  Springfield at 10 am. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation is on Tuesday from 7-9  pm and on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

Born in Jersey City, Carol lived in Union and lived in Springfield for 18 years. Carol was a part time  teacher at St. Rose of Lima School, Short Hills. She received her degree from St. Elizabeth's College, her masters degree from Drew University and she was currently working on her PHd at Drew University.

She was the beloved wife of Bob; loving mother of Bryan & Bill; and cherished grandmother of Danielle & Nick.
