Carole Nonnenmacher

Carole Nonnenmacher (nee Zirpolo), 73 passed away on November 14, 2015 at Acuity Specialty Hospital in Atlantic City.

The Funeral Service will be held in the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell on Friday at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 10 AM until time of service.

Born in Newark, Carole lived in Irvington, Union and for a long time in Hillsborough before moving to Barnegat last year. She was a supervisor with court reporting service Rosenberg & Associates in Roseland for many years. Carole could often be found playing Hoot or one of her other favorite slot machines in the Borgata or at Resorts Casino. She loved occasionally making trips down the shore, or out to the Slot Machine Capitol of the World; Las Vegas. Carole loved calling her family and friends on the telephone, so much so that she often forgot the reason for her call in the first place.

Carole was the daughter of the late Louis and Mollie Zirpolo; she is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years Robert Nonnenmacher; her sister Cathi Brozena; sister-in-law Maryanne Nonnenmacher and her husband Bernie Velasquez; nieces and nephews Alisa and Frank DaCosta, Bryan and Leslie Carr; numerous cousins, and also by her puppy nieces and nephews Rocky and Tiki.
