Carole Ann Pascarella

Carole Ann Pascarella, (Fresulone) 74, died Friday, March 22, 2019 at her home in Kenilworth, NJ after battling Alzheimer's Disease.

Carole was predeceased by her husband Domenico after more than 50 years of marriage.  She leaves behind her sons, Louis (Julie), Domenick (Rachel), Peter (Yolanda) and her daughter Maria Sims (Daniel). Her grandchildren; Emilia, Samuel, Grace, Eva, Matthew, Leah, Nicholas, Zachary, Al and Peter; her sister, Carmel Robertson. She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers, Angelo (Doris) and Peter Fresulone.

Born in Newark NJ, the daughter of Peter and Caroline (Ferrara) Fresulone, she lived in Newark and Union before settling in Kenilworth in 1966.

Carole co-owned Tri-Boro Pizza in Maywood and Villa Rosario in Haledon with her husband before his retirement.  She helped in the kitchen preparing many dishes, especially desserts.  She was an excellent cook who was known for her chocolate mousse.

Nothing was more important to Carole than her family and especially her children. Her devotion to her own children spilled over to others and led her into a career in education.  She first worked for the Kenilworth Board of Education and then the Irvington Board of Education for more than 20 years.

Visitation will be at Galante Funeral Home in Union, Wednesday, March 27th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a funeral mass at St. Theresa's Church in Kenilworth, Thursday, March 28th at 10:00 am.  Interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.  In lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer’s Foundation using the link below.
