Carolyn J. Treppunti 79, of Long Branch formerly of Union, NJ passed away on January 19, 2014 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison. The funeral  is from  the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, NJ on Wednesday at 6 pm, with the visitation from 3 to 7 PM.

Born in Summit, NJ she lived in Union then Long Branch for 17 years. She was a secretary for the Union Board of Education and then the Hillside Board of Education for 18 years. She retired many years ago.

Carolyn was a former president of the Union PTA and also was a member of the Suburban Golf Club.

She is the wife of the late Philip Treppunti.  The mother of Kim Treppunti and Jill Hall. Grandmother of Philip, Michael and his wife Jen, Samantha and her husband Bruce, Timothy and Kevin. Great grandmother of Bruce Connor.

In lieu of flowers donations to St. Benedict's Prep, Newark or NICU at Overlook Hospital, Summit would be appreciated.
