Caterina Gennaro 89, (nee Lazzaro) of Newark passed away on July 13, 2015.

Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home  2800 Morris Ave. Union  on Wednesday at 8:30 AM.

Funeral Mass at Our Lady of  Mt. Carmel Church, Newark  at 10:30 AM. Entombment Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.

Visitation Tuesday 5 - 9 PM.

Caterina was born in Spilinga, Italy, lived in Argentina for 19 years before arriving and settling in the Ironbound section of Newark in 1973.

She loved and adored her entire family and will be greatly missed by them.

Wife of Francisco.

Mother of Jose and his wife Maria Alzira and Dominga Bianchi and husband Juan Carlos.

Sister of Antonio, Michele, Thomas, Giuseppe, Vittoria De Vita, and the late Rosa, Maria, Lina and Annunziata.

Grandmother of Gabriela and her husband Andres, Vanesa, Andrew and Erica.

Great Grandmother of Isabella and Lucas.

Also survived by many In Laws, Nieces and Nephews
