Catherine "Kay" Berwanger

Catherine Patricia Berwanger, lovingly called Kay was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 27, 1925.  She passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 21, 2023. 

 She is survived by her loving and devoted son, Kevin Grim and his wife, Sandra; her beloved daughter Holly White and her husband James White; her grandchildren, Jennifer Grossman and her husband Chris; Kevin Grim, Jr. and his wife Christina;  JT White and his Wife Priya, and Tucker Grim.  She is also survived by three great-grandsons, William Grossman, Christopher Grim, III, and Charles Grim. 

Services will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church on June 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in Verona, New Jersey followed by graveside services at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, New Jersey. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her honor go to either Tunnels to Towers (T2T.org) or Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital. 

The family wishes to honor Kay’s life with color, no black please.
